Canada Post hasn’t stuck to agreement with township – Millar

A company,Nestle Waters Canada, is going to challenge the councils latest decision of banning water bottles from being sold at the township’s facilities. 
Tiny Council passed a Resolution to give this Company ten minutes to do a presentation at the next Council meeting on October 11, 2011.
Tiny Township became Ontario’s first and one of Canada’s three Blue Communities only a few weeks ago.
Pairlawn Lake speeding
Bob Allan, on behalf of the Farlain Lake Community Association, made a presentation to Council, about the speeding problem at Farlain Lake.
Commercial trucks are the major offenders during the Summer months. This item has been deferred until Spring.
Councillor Warren is worried about five new cell phone towers that are scheduled for the township. There is no info as to what they are for. Needs to be looked into.
Bluewater Dunes will be getting benches for their boardwalk, says Council.
Deputy-Mayor Lawrence says there is an encroachment on Tiny property on the fourth concession from private beach owners. Bridges are being put up professionaly across the ditches to the township road. He wants them gone. Staff will look into it.
Problems with address changes 
There are problems with the address changes in the township, says Mayor Millar. The residents in north Tiny haven’t received anything from Canada
Post as to what their new address will be. The residents in Wyevale and Wyebridge were supposed to keep their hamlet name in their new address
but it sounds like Canada Post has taken it out. Canada Post is not keeping to the agreement that was made between them says Mayor Millar. This will be looked into asap.
