No change to trash pickup

SIMCOE COUNTY – Simcoe County council voted in favour Tuesday to keep curbside trash collection as is.
A motion to standardize residential garbage pickup across the county to every other week and create a user-pay system failed in a 23-8 recorded vote. The decision came after lengthy debate on how to tackle the county’s looming landfill problems.
