A North American first: Entropex recovers clam shells, bakery trays

Ontario is giving a Sarnia company $4 million to further develop a method of recycling plastic packaging that currently ends up in landfill sites.
The money for Entropex, from Ontario’s Innovation Demonstration Fund, was announced Monday and is expected to create 90 jobs.

Ontario is helping Entropex — an innovative recycling company in Sarnia — pilot new technology, generate local and global business opportunities and create 90 jobs for families.
The support will help the company pilot a new process that will recover 30,000 tonnes per year of unrecycled plastic that would otherwise end up in landfills.
