Wheels go ’round on a new bus plan for Barrie.
City council gave final approval Monday to proceed with a $20.46-million public/private partnership (P3) plan to build a new transit garage on Welham Road. It would also find a private partner to operate and maintain this facility and enter into a long-term contract with it for 10 or even 20 years to deliver bus services.
