And what about those plastic water  bottles at Midland council meeting?
Letter to Simcoe.com May 09, 2011
MIDLAND – During a recent walk through Tiffin Park, I noticed the garbage cans were full of empty water bottles and pop cans. These items should be recycled.
The town could easily place recycling bins in municipal parks to encourage residents to do the right thing.
On another note, I found a recent photo of council in The Mirror (“All hands on deck for strategic planning session,” May 5) rather distressing. I counted at least five disposable water bottles on the table.
Shouldn’t council provide a better example to its citizens by drinking tap water at its meetings?
