New Tec council backs Walton’s opposition to NVCA’s ‘outrageous’ review fee

The first large scale, non-Honda related industrial development proposal in several years in New Tecumseth, has struck a financial hurdle installed by the Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority (NVCA) which is demanding $156,750 as its Plan of Subdivision Review Fee.
As reported here first March 9, the Walton Development and Management L.P. (WDM) has submitted a planning application that would divided its properties at 6857 and 7005 Industrial Parkway into 12 industrial lots of varying sizes, with a storm water management pond, over 62.7 hecatres.
