County moves to relax exporting residential waste policy

Simcoe County’s Solid Waste Management Strategy (SWMS), the guiding force of pending changes to residential garbage collection and disposal, including the prospect of paying weekly for curbside pick-up, is focused now on “short term approaches” that will extend landfill capacities “while longer term options for garbage disposal/processing are explored.”
