Essex-Windsor landfill to stop accepting Toronto garbage

The regional landfill servicing Windsor, Ont., and the surrounding county municipalities will stop accepting garbage from Toronto once its current contract runs out in September — a decision made Tuesday night by the Essex-Windsor Solid Waste Authority.
