Simcoe County CAO updates Innisfil Council

In an update presented to Innisfil Council on March 16, Simcoe County CAO Mark Aiken touched on waste management, and the County’s plan to go to full “user pay” for trash in 2012 – charging $2 for every bag of garbage.

When he suggested there was support for the concept, Innisfil Councillor Lynn Dollin disagreed. “My emails have been heating up,” she said. “It’s a resounding “No” in Ward 7.”
