Thirty Simcoe County employees made Ontario’s “sunshine” list of public employees making over $100,000 a year. One, CAO Mark Aitken, clocks in at $205, 227.21 with $1,123.92 in taxable benefits. There has been pressure on the government to raise the $100,000 minimum it takes to make the list, which began in 1995.
