As a part of Chimnissing Water Week, you are invited to attend a Full Moon Ceremony Sunday, March 20th, 2011,  7 pm at the Pavilion located on Christian Island, Ontario, right off the boat.  Christian Island is located just 30 minutes north of Midland and Penetanguishene, in the heart of Georgian Bay.

Women, please remember to wear a long skirt as is the Anishinabe tradition. 

Men and First Nation Employees, both Native and Non-native are more than welcome to attend and celebrate the Anishinabe Kwe’s relationship with Nbaagiizis and Nibi (Moon and Water).  Please print, post and forward. Boat schedules can be found on www.chimnissing.ca , please note there is a $5 fee for ferry services for non-members each wayCome partake in a wonderful ceremony that honors the Anishinabe Kwe’s relationship with the Nibi (Water) and Nbaagiizis (Moon)
