I would like to know why in the elections there was talk about a transit system even from the Mayor, but in the budget that has just come out there is not anything about a transit system.
This has been on going for many years and with Walmart (and the plaza only to get bigger) beside it, thought that they would benefit with Walmart, and be able to get to and from without costing an arm and a leg.
I have to ask: How do we, the towns’ people that don’t have cars, how are we supposed to be able to travel from one end of town to the other without it costing us two hours wage and are on a minumin wage, as most people can only get temp work in this town; therefore can’t afford the taxi fare to get to the other end of town? So I ask again what has happened to the so called transit in this town.
