Unhappiness with the 8th Line-Dissette St. Road Widening project in Bradford has reached the highest levels. John Burnside, president of R.J. Burnside & Associates, consulting engineers for the project, came to Open Forum earlier this month, to deliver a personal apology to Council and residents.
“It was made known to me that the level of service we have provided has not been at the level” expected, Burnside said, adding that a new team has been brought in “to reset the level of service…. I can assure Mayor and Council that there’s no lack of clarity as to the level of service we intend to provide.”
Burnside’s comments were acknowledged by Mayor Doug White, who noted, “I think there are some matters that have been rectified.”
