Essa A-C meeting set for Wednesday, October 13

Essa Township All-Candidates’ Meeting on Wednesday October 13, 2010 — 7pm – for School Board Trustee Candidates –7:45pm – for Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Councillor Candidates — Location: Utopia Community Hal. 8396 6th Line, Utopia.
The format of our meeting will feature a moderated question and answer session where each candidate will have the opportunity to present their vision and campaign specifics. Our moderator will be Andrew Mayer, long-time Angus resident and former principal of New Lowell Public School. We will be posting notices of our meeting throughout Essa Township as well as sending out alerts to local press and community organizations as available. We also appreciate your efforts to encourage the citizens of Essa Township to attend our October 13th meeting.
Each Ward Councillor Candidate will have three (3) minutes to present; all Deputy Mayor Candidates will have four (4) minutes to present; and each Mayoralty Candidate will have five (5) minutes to present. All School Board Trustee Candidates will have two (2) minutes to present.
Candidates also have the option of an individual table for their own use to display literature and have this as a “meet & greet” area.
