Our thoughts go out to the family of Globe and Mail reporter Margaret Philp, whose husband Martin Mittelstaedt, the paper’s envirronment reporter, has written several times about Dump Site 41. Margaret died yesterday, 43 years old, four years after first being diagnosed with breast cancer. She was a powerful and evocative writer with a commitment to social justice.
