TC Energy (formerly TransCanada) is holding “public information sessions” on a plan to pump water from Georgian Bay/Lake Huron up the Niagara Escarpment to a reservoir during off-peak hours and releasing the water through turbines when hydro energy is required. The project would be located on the Canadian Army’s 4th Canadian Division Training Centre, in the Municipality of Meaford.

When  Thursday, January 23, 2020 5:30 p.m. Doors open 6 – 6:30 p.m. Presentation 6:30 – 9 p.m. Drop-in style open house

Where Meaford and St. Vincent Community Centre – Auditorium (151 Collingwood Street, Meaford)

At 6 p.m., TC Energy will provide an overview presentation of its proposed project. Following the presentation, TC Energy representatives will be available to provide information on the project, answer your questions and listen to your feedback.
