Last week, Simcoe County received this staff report on next steps in its plan to locate its organics and waste handling facility in the Freele Tract on Horsehoe Valley Road.

Friends of Simcoe Forests which, along with Nicholyn Farms and Edward Krajid, is appealing the selection of a forest as the site of this needed facility, has released its peer review of the county’s tree planting compensation plan.
