Innisfil Deputy Mayor-elect Dan Davidson resigns from Friday Harbour side job

Deputy Mayor-elect Dan Davidson has announced he is stepping down from his position as Friday Harbour Community Liaison Chair.
Once an opponent of Friday Harbour while serving on a previous council, Davidson was later hired by the now defunct Ontario Municipal Board to be the liaison in 2015.
“I was there as the voice for the community during the critical development stages of Friday Harbour,” Davidson said in a press release issued Nov. 27. “For almost four years, I brought the voices of the people of Innisfil forward to make the largest project in Simcoe County both sustainable and a powerful community economic asset.
