I’m Henry Kooistra. I’m running for deputy mayor to deliver steady, sensible leadership to move our town forward.
I’m a local businessperson, father and grandfather. I grew up in the Holland Marsh and spent the summers at my grandparents’ farm in Innisfil.

Before we moved to Sandycove we where told that Lockhart rd. would be paved within 2 yrs.
Since then the 10th sideroad and Stroud parking lot have been re-done although they did not need it
The 25th sideroad was torn up and left like a landmine and we will have to pay to have it re-done probably because the contractor was not required to come and put it back in usable condition
We are tired of this council wasting money. I realize that council is not worried about a bunch of old farts in Sandycove but I can assure you big changes are coming
Finally—when will Lockhart rd be re-paved
