Tuesday June 27: Springwater mayor moves to pause organics facility

The following motion is to be debated tomorrow – Tuesday June 27 – by Simcoe County Council, meeting in Committee of the whole:
Moved By: Councillor French
That the County put a pause on the development plans for the ERRC until such time as County Council has been fully apprised of the impact of the Waste-Free Ontario Act, the Growth Plan 2017 and until such time as the Business Case for the facility is complete.
The meeting starts at 9am at the County Museum building, 1151 Hwy #26 Midhurst (across from County Admin Bldg).

Note change of venue, due to
a strategic planning meeting. These meetings are open for the public to attend. Chairs are available around the perimeter of the room for any or all of duration these meetings.
