MIDLAND – Carolyn Tripp has left her position as CAO for the Town of Midland

On Tuesday afternoon, Mayor Gord McKay confirmed Tripp was “no longer with the Town of Midland.”

“We would like to thank her for her service,” he said.

No reason was given for her leaving. McKay said he would not comment on an internal matter involving an employee.

A brief statement released Tuesday afternoon by the Town of Midland offered no further details.

“On January 19th, 2016 Ms. Carolyn Tripp left her position as Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for the Town of Midland,” the press release read. “The Town would like to thank Ms. Tripp for her contributions to the Municipality, and wish her every success in her career.”
