From Simcoe County website

The County will be hosting a public information session to provide further details on this project and outline the proposed siting methodology. The public is invited to attend one of the two sessions on December 2:

Tuesday, December 2, 2014

Simcoe County Museum
Meeting Rooms A & B
2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm

Information at both the afternoon and evening sessions is the same. The purpose of these sessions is to:

• summarize the proposed siting process and methodology for this facility;
• provide information and obtain feedback on site evaluation criteria; and
• outline next steps in the siting process.

  1. Ann Spence says:

    What is to be summarized/discussed at the public meetings?

    • Ann says:

      It’s not a meeting Ann, but a Public Information Session where you can learn about the new composting organic waste facility that the county is planning to build.
      They want to get public feedback and input as to the siting of this project, etc.
      It’s very important that the public is involved and engaged in this whole process!
