Message goes up at Airport Rd. and County Road 21
News release from Citizens’ Alliance for a Sustainable Environment August 30 2011
The Stop the Mega Quarry campaign is about to unveil its first billboard at Airport Road and County Road 21!
Two families have sponsored this billboard and two additional billboard commitments are being finalized. We are challenging other folks to do the same. Form a group — 2, 3 or 4 couples, teams of friends or co-workers, neighbours on your road, families — and Sponsor a Billboard to Stop the Mega Quarry! We have several locations near Orangeville, Shelburne and Alliston. Highways 10, 124, 89 and 9. Each billboard costs approximately $1200 plus HST. This is your opportunity to help raise awareness about the proposed mega quarry before October 6th Election.
