Election expenses: Clearview

STAYNER – The Township of Clearview has released expense and contribution reports for people who ran in the municipal election last year.

Mayor Ken Ferguson reported campaign expenses totaling $12,333.91 and contributions of the same amount. Of that amount, he contributed $243. The rest of the funds came primarily from local residents and businesses. However, there were contributions from people and organizations outside the area, including Gian Del Zotto, a developer who plans to build in Nottawa. He donated $750 to Ferguson’s campaign.
