I’m Jodie Wilson, running for Council in Ward 3. My love of politics started when I was 12 years old and working on campaigns with Stephen Lewis — whose father founded the NDP party — as well as other political figures throughout the years.
I arrived in Orillia in 1988, where I obtained employment as the administrative assistant to mayor and council. I worked for John Palmer and Clayt French. I was passionate about my job, where I developed a network of businesses and agencies within the community, many of whom I still have good relationships with.
