Keep your cool and help the climate
By Angela Bischoff, Directof of the Ontario Clean Air Alliance
With summers getting hotter and hotter thanks to climate change, we think this is a great time to look at the most climate – and wallet – friendly way to cool your home.
An air source heat pump (ASHP) can provide cooling more efficiently – and more quietly – than a conventional air conditioner, and there are some new incentives for low-cost configurations that use your furnace’s existing air handler unit (i.e. fan unit) that we can share with you. So join us on Tuesday, July 11th at 7 p.m. ET to get the inside scoop.
We’ll have a panel of experts on hand to explain how heat pumps work for cooling and heating, the various options and the dollars and cents and to answer your questions.
Plus, we are thrilled to have as a special guest, former Toronto City Councillor Mike Layton, who will talk about his family’s green home retrofit, including installation of an ASHP for heating and cooling.
