THE FIRST SCIENTIFIC STUDY OF ITS TYPE!

Do our Federal/Provincial Legal and Environmental requirements/regulations for aggregate mining go far enough to protect the purest groundwater known to science; how about for digging below the water table? Until more is known, ANY risk remains unknown.

TWO aggregate taking operations in the Simcoe County Waverley Uplands are stripping away the soils and trees and the Elmvale groundwater flow is being disrupted by the mining. There’s an assertion that this kind of activity will not alter the quality and quantity of this pure groundwater.

The scientists will be doing the very first study of its type to prove whether that is true or not. As citizens, we should be doing everything possible to save and protect the purest water known to science. Water is our most important resource. Water is Life.
