Kelly Clune candidate in Orillia’s Ward 4

Kelly Clune is stepping into the race for Councillor in Orillia’s Ward 4. 
Clune believes that government decisions must attend to the long-term health and well-being of our community.  Protecting and/or improving the many features that make Orillia so appealing for residents and visitors is her focus.  Clune will seek opportunities that exist to create new and effective systems that complement these features.
An open and transparent system will welcome input from residents, before decisions are made, to determine the best interests of the community, and avoid future conflicts that are time consuming and costly. 
Public communication is essential, especially when large projects are being considered which involve significant public money, or public assets.
Clune will give a voice to people in the community who are concerned about how our tax dollars are being used. 
Clune will focus on genuine needs of our community, and the wise use of public tax dollars, to avoid depleting our finances.  By utilizing the strengths in Orillia, including the knowledge, experience and enthusiasm of the people who live here, Clune will work together with others to build a strong, healthy, and sustainable Orillia.
