West end Alliston to grow as Rizzardo Brothers win approval

A plan for several hundred news homes in Alliston’s furthest western reaches received final subdivision approval by council in committee last night, permitting Rizzardo Brothers to develop more than 770 new units over three phases on 28.43 hectares (70.25 acres).
Phase 1 of Previn Court’s Victorian Village will consist of 105 single detached homes, and 19 townhouses. The subject site is immediately west of Industrial Parkway, north of 30 Sideroad and south of Young Street – whose frontage is designated commercial development.
The Rizzardo Brothers have been working on this proposal since 1999. Its had draft plan approval extensions, and is bound by former Development Charges fees from previous deals with the, that should noet more than $3 million
