Calling all Gardeners!

Date: Thursday, March 25, 2021 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: Online

Why do pollinators need native plants? Which plants please the most pollinators? Meet your local pollinators—the bees of course, and the moths and flies and butterflies and beetles that keep our fruits and nuts and veggies growing.

Join the Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority’s (NVCA) Healthy Waters Coordinator, Shannon Stephens, to learn about our native plants.

As well as looking beautiful all season long, your garden can be a haven for pollinators and a habitat to support biodiversity in our community. Discover how to start a low-maintenance native plant garden. Be part of growing a corridor of pollinator-friendly spaces across Essa township and beyond. Every garden counts.
