Recently, as part of its submission to the provincial government on regional government review, the Town of Wasaga Beach suggested that the Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority and the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority be dissolved.

AWARE Simcoe board members Sandy Agnew and Kate Harries will be making a deputation to the NVCA’s board of directors on some of the concerns raised by proposed diminution or elimination of conservation authorities’ role.

Please attend! Important issues regarding protection of life and property as well as environmental health are involved.
