Great work for the cleanest water on earth! Just be aware of contradictory scientific work as it relates to science re. Oil Sands Region of the Lower Athabasca River.

In 2010, Schindler’s studies showed emissions from upgraders and mining are causing increasing levels of heavy metal pollution in the Athabasca watershed at a distance from the plants. Federal studies have since confirmed those findings.

By contrast, Shotyk and his team found “no significant atmospheric contamination of heavy metals” with a study of moss samples rather than the snow melt used by Schindler.
