From Environmental Defence

In the past year, Ontario has experienced a slew of regressive policies aiming to overturn decades of environmental protections put in place by previous governments of all political stripes. The list is staggering: the cancellation of the climate act and cap-and-trade, the legal challenge to carbon pricing, Bill 66, a gutting of the Endangered Species Act, changes to the Environmental Assessment Act, Growth Plan, and more on the way.

On Saturday June 8, 2019, join us as we gather Ontario’s environmental community to launch a coordinated response to this attack on our environment and our province.
When: Saturday June 8, 2019 10:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Where: Bricker Academic Building, Wilfrid Laurier University – Bricker Ave, Waterloo ON N2L 3B4
How Much: Tickets are $40
