Wasaga council closes door on high school, downtown committees

Wasaga Beach is dropping four committees created during the previous council term.

Committees tasked with overseeing the downtown management master plan, the community hub, the campaign to get a high school, and the tourism and event advisory committee have been disbanded.

Of the four, only the tourism committee will possibly live on, albeit in another form and focused on shepherding the tourism destination management plan introduced last fall.
