Changes to Bill 66 a ‘really positive announcement’

Innisfil councillor comments re Bill 66:

“The cost of this open for business — the risks to our lake, our wetlands, our greenbelt — they are too high,” said Coun. Donna Orsatti. “I’m not open for business.”

Mayor Lynn Dollin mused it would be tempting to use an OFB bylaw for something like the Amazon H2 bid, but ended up making comments similar to the rest of council.

“We need to do everything we can to be open for business without Bill 66,” she said.
