Some might suggest a Ramara Township man’s prayers have been answered, although he wouldn’t put it that way.
Allan Millard was, however, encouraged to learn town council intends to end the use of the Lord’s Prayer in the wake of a complaint he lodged with the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario.
“I am glad they are finally doing the right thing,” he told Simcoe.com.
Millard made the complaint after initially expressing in a letter his concerns over council’s use of prayer at a May 28 meeting.
