  1. I have created a blog for the public to learn more about the issues. I welcome comments so I can also learn more about citizens ideas. https://robertbortlisz.blogspot.com

    • bill whittingham says:

not in favor of new down town were a quint destination
put money into roads forested area beach life guards clean up the old shacks

this town is 1 of the cleanest and for seniors tax rate is acceptable

  2. Jerry Martin says:

In the 12 years I have lived in the Beach there have been no drownings at the beach area (river mouth is a different story – well posted as a dangerous no swimming area).
Why would we spend all that money to have life guards just to let parents abdicate their responsibility to watch their own children. It would also open up legal action against the town if anything did happen

  3. Shar says:

I am all for the new & exciting plans for Wasaga Beach. We brag we have the longest freshwater beach in the world, yet we are running it like a flop house. Not a decent hotel in town, shacks along the beach serving garbage food at crazy prices. We say we are a resort town but it’s not geared for families! Let’s bring some class into town, clean it up and generate some money..please no more strip malls.
