Municipality maintains there are no restrictive covenants on further development at Marlwood

Wasaga Beach’s former mayor has stepped forward and into the middle of a dispute between the owner of a Wasaga Beach golf course and the people who live around it.

In an affidavit provided to the Marlwood Home Owners Group, Cal Patterson stated a restrictive covenant was placed on Marlwood Golf Course in 2003 to prevent any further expansion of water, sewer, and housing development.
