Bruce J. Davis has been in and around Bradford West Gwillimbury most of his life.
He was born in Toronto and raised in the Lefroy area of Innisfil. He attended high school in Bradford. In October of 1972, he joined the Bradford Police Service as a constable after having served in excess of two years as an Auxiliary member with them. He was named chief of Innisfil police in 1984, and appointed chief of the South Simcoe Police Service Jan. 1, 1997 after joining Bradford West Gwillimbury and Innisfil police together.
