Jim Hunter – Essa Ward 2

Jim has lived in Essa Township for more than 35 years, residing on the 8th line of Essa. Jim is married and has raised his family in this community.

Jim’s involvement in his community began in the mid ’80s as a member of the Essa Recreation Committee. He was a founding member of the Angus Minor Soccer Club and was involved with the club for many years. Jim also served as a volunteer firefighter in Angus for about 10 years. Living in Utopia, Jim and family enjoyed recreation opportunities in both Thornton and Angus.
