For the past twenty years I have worked as a chartered mediator dealing with a wide variety of disputes from insurance, contract and estate to family issues. As well, I have mediated disputes with various diverse communities and organizations. I graduated with a BA in history and since then obtained degrees in advertising and wooden boat building technology. My work experience includes; executive assistant at Queen’s Park for two cabinet ministers, a publisher and a senior executive for the Recycling Council of Ontario.
Since 2015 I have been a member of the Collingwood police services board, the Simcoe County Solid Waste Infrastructure Project committee, the Collingwood Optimist Club and the Collingwood Toastmasters Club. I have been a member on the planning committee of the Township of Georgian Bay for three years, president of the Georgian Bay Association and was appointed to the International Joint Commission’s Public Interest Advisory Board — responsible for regulating water levels on the Great Lakes.
