Out of my commitment to transparency, honesty and accountability, I am running for deputy mayor in order to be actively involved with a long overdue and desperately needed change in Adjala-Tosorontio. Residents deserve a new and strong council who will work with them and the township, treating everyone equally in order “to enrich our agricultural, rural and residential heritage by promoting a safe, healthy, inclusive, environmentally and economically sustainable community,” as per the strategic plan.
I have been a firefighter with the Rosemont Fire Department for over 12 years and the owner-operator of a home-farm based business. I am a graduate of Sir Sandford Fleming and have been employed as a supervisor for Caterpillar, and a marketing analyst at Canadian Tire involved with the development of Part Source stores in Canada. All these experiences enhance my abilities as deputy mayor.
