I have 50 years of municipal engineering experience with York Region, King Township, County of Simcoe and consulting engineers and previously served as Ward 1 Councillor in Adjala-Tosorontio from 2003-2006. Prior to council, I was a member of the Planning Advisory Committee for 10 years.

I have been a resident of Ward 1 since 1970. My wife Eilish and I have three boys — Sean, Kevin and Brian — along with eight grandchildren.
