Living Green Barrie will be hosting a screening of Bikes vs Cars

The bicycle, an amazing tool for change. Activists and cities all over the world are moving towards a new system. But will the economic powers allow it? Bikes vs Cars, a new film project from BANANAS!* and Big Boys Gone Bananas!* director Fredrik Gertten, looks into and investigates the daily global drama in traffic around the world.

The event will be held Thursday July 26 at the Barrie Uptown Theatre (theatre #5 to the right of the concession). Admission is $5. Purchase tickets through EventBrite or pay at the door – cash only.

7:00 pm – Screening of Plant This Movie!

8:30 pm – Conversation with Firebird Community Cycle

This is a zero-waste event! Please bring your own container for popcorn and fountain drinks. Popcorn will be $1 per scoop and drinks will be based on size. (If you purchased tickets online you do not need to print the tickets; simply tell us the name on the order).
