Water Keepers gathered today, World Water Day, for an early morning ceremony in Waverley, and then dispersed to various points – including the Teedon Pit entrance, along Highway 93, and the ‘flow’ north of Elmvale (where people come from far and wide to get the exceptional water). Horns sounded in support as drivers passed on their way to work. The community is committed to protecting the natural heritage water that flows from the Waverley Uplands recharge area.

For more information or to share in our mission, contact Friends of the Waverley Uplands on facebook or email aware.simcoe@gmail.com.
