Thursday August 31, 2017
10:0A0 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Join the Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority (NVCA) and NCC for a wet and wild day of installing wing deflectors along Willow Creek in Minesing Wetlands. Once installed, these wing deflectors will give Willow Creek its “wiggle” back by restoring the stream’s natural meander.

Please bring your own lunch and refillable water bottle. You may also bring your own work gloves and chest waders, if you have them. This event is suitable for ages 14 and up. NCC and NVCA will provide gloves and chest waders for those who need them as well as extra snacks and water. There will be no on-site washroom facilities at this event.
