Notice of Public Meeting on a Proposed Zoning By-Law Amendment Pursuant to Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, as amended.

Take notice that the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury will be holding a public meeting on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Zima Room of the BWG Library & Cultural Centre, 425 Holland Street West, Bradford to consider a proposed amendment to Zoning By-law 2010-050. Please note that there may be more than one public meeting and that the matter will be dealt with in the order that it appears on the agenda.

The purpose ande effect

The purpose and e ect of the proposed amendment is to rezone the lands to four site specific  “Residential One (R1)” zones to implement zoning standards and reflect the revised zone boundaries to coordinate with approved Draft Plan of Subdivision S-09-03. A key map showing the location of the lands is (on the township website).

Additional information regarding the proposal is available for public inspection during regular office hours at the Office of Community Planning located at 305 Barrie Street, Unit 2, Bradford.

The purpose of the meeting is to inform the public of the nature of the proposal, invite public input, and answer questions regarding the applications. Any person may attend the public meeting to make written or verbal representation in support of or in opposition to the proposed zoning by-law amendment. If you wish to be noti ed of the decision of the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury on the proposed zoning by-law amendment, you must make a written request to Brandon Slopack at the address shown above.

If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at the public meeting or make written submissions to the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury before the by-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the Council of the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury to the Ontario Municipal Board. If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury before the by-law is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the Board, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
