Exploring Conservation on Farms

from  Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority

Agricultural fields provide homes for grassland birds like the Bobolink and Eastern Meadowlark.
This workshop for farmers will look at best practices for managing hay and pastures that protect these increasingly threatened grassland birds. We hope the discussion will help us find common ground between sustainable agricultural production and these grassland birds.
