Volunteers Needed!

TD’s flagship volunteer program invites TD employees, their families and friends, and community partners to plant trees in communities across Canada and to demonstrate their commitment to forest stewardship.

Please note the event will take place rain or sunshine.

Please meet at the Pavilion to complete your registration and receive your TD Tree Days t-shirt. There will be a brief welcome huddle where important information will be shared followed by instructions on how to properly plant the trees/shrubs.

Clothing:

-Wear closed toed sturdy footwear. Please do not wear sandals or flip flops to the event.

-Dress for the weather. You can dress in layers with a windbreaker and bring rain gear in case of rainy conditions. -Hat, sunglasses and sunscreen are also good items to bring along.

-Previous volunteers are encouraged to wear their TD Tree Days t-shirt from last year.

Please bring the following items with you:

1. Please bring shovels.

2. Gloves will be provided, please feel free to bring your own if you prefer.

3. Water.

More than 235,000 trees have been added to the Canadian landscape as a result of this program. In 2016, thousands of volunteers will plant another 50,000 trees at over 140 plantings across the country.
