We need your voice at the Georgian Triangle Climate Change consultation! The meeting will be at the Collingwood Public Library on Wednesday August 24th at 6:30 pm. ‘Town hall’ meetings like this one have been requested by the Federal government and are being held across Canada so that citizens can input ideas to help build a National Climate Change Strategy. This is your chance to tell our Federal leaders that we expect immediate, meaningful action towards addressing climate change!

We will show our support for the People’s Climate Plan. Organizers with the People’s Climate Plan are calling for a National Climate Strategy that respects science and Canada’s commitment in the Paris Agreement, ensures a plan to transition to a 100% renewable economy by 2050, and enshrines justice for all workers and Indigenous communities.
